A concert in Ramsey on Saturday could mark the end of an era.
Cathedral organist Dr Peter Litman will give what may be the last concert on the organ of Waterloo Road Methodist Church.
There are plans for the church and Trinity United Reformed Church to merge and their buildings are presently up for sale.
It is likely that the pipe organs of each building will not be required when the end finally comes.
Dr Litman’s recital will be a ’farewell to the organ’.
Dr Litman is the organist and musical director of St German’s Cathedral in Peel.
The concert, which starts at 3pm. is free and open to all.
The church is next to the Manx Electric Railway station.
