The top of Strang Road in Braddan will be shut from 8.30am tomorrow (Saturday) until lunchtime while a fallen tree is removed.

The Department of Infrastructure say that they expect the road to be open again by no later than 1.30pm.

A spokesperson for the DoI's highway services said: 'The top of Strang Road, Braddan will be closed from its junction with the A23 Braddan Road at Strang roundabout to the entrance of the Ballanawin Estate.

'This is to facilitate the safe removal of a fallen tree from the roadside bank.'
