An ostentation of peafowl are wandering the Ballaugh area.

The police originally said they had escaped from the Wildlife Park.

But they got that wrong.Officers now believe they are from a private collection and it was a coincidence that they are near the Wildlife Park.A spokesman said: 'If you see them or know who owns these birds please ring either the police or the Wildlife Park for advice.'Meanwhile, Douglas’s wandering peacock has been captured.
