Douglas’s 1886 nightclub is applying for a licence to sell alcohol and provide live music in a marquee in Villiers Square next summer.

The empty site adjoins the Loch Promenade and Regent Street, and the nightclub is looking to use it as a temporary singing and dancing venue from May 28 to June 12 next year, between 12pm-12am

The area was last year used for a Christmas play.
