A woman is applying for planning permission (21/00984/B) to live in the former Scout hall on Allan Street in Douglas.

The two-storey building is neighboured on both sides by residential houses.

There would be no change the building’s layout.

On the first floor would be a living room, kitchen and dining area, a bedroom and a bathroom.

The former 53 square metre scout hall on the ground floor would then become a day room/reception.

The 1st Douglas Scout Group’s current Scout hall is on Demesne Road.
