More than 20 local singers, songwriters and musicians turned out to appear at the latest Guitarathon, held at the Archibald Knox pub in Onchan.
Musicians, including Emma Winstanley, Beth Kaneen, Adrian Cowin Phil Reynolds, Alice Dudley, Shoh Slaynt, John Ruscoe and John Gregory amongst many others, appeared throughout the 12-hour musical marathon, which raised more than £450 for the Anthony Nolan trust.
The guitarathon was organised by singer and guitarist Eugene Wilson, who opened the vent at 1pm and eventually closed it at shortly before midnight.
Eugene, who hosted the event in memory of his daughter, Lisa Wilson, who lost her battle with leukaemia in 2005, paid thanks to all the musicians who gave their time for free, and to the staff at the Archibald Knox for their support. The next open mic night, also in aid of the Anthony Nolan trust, will be on Friday, December 1, from 8.30pm
