Talented musician Beccy Hurst has called in the police to help trace her tin whistle.

The musical instrument, in a black case, went missing in Ramsey while she was there for the Shennaghys Jiu festival at the weekend.

Police said: ’Calling all sharp-eyed Ramsey residents. Beccy Hurst - one of our own, originally from Port Erin and an ubertalented musician - came over from her current base in Newcastle to play at Shennaghys Jiu 2019 in Ramsey.

’Somewhere between The Plough and her accommodation, she has misplaced her tin whistle in its black case.

’It is beautiful and brass, rather than made of tin and like most musical instruments, very precious to its owner.’
