Alfred Cannan’s fourth Budget was passed by Tynwald this evening.

House of Keys members voted by 22 votes to one in favour of the Budget.

And members of the Legislative Council voted with nine votes in favour and none against.

the only dissenting voice was from the Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson. The Rushen member had earlier made it clear he would be voting against.

Tynwald voted after four and a half hours of discussion.
