The Chief Minister is to make a statement about the Covid situation in Tynwald today in the wake of news that omicron has probably reached the island.

It will spell out the government’s position regarding the situation.

An emergency question will be asked by Ann Corlett (Douglas Central).

She ask will the Chief Minister: ’By what date all over-18s will have been offered a booster dose of a Covid-19 vaccine?’

The Isle of Man recorded its first two possible cases of the omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus, the government announced on Saturday.
