Health chiefs and Chief Constable Gary Roberts will all give evidence to a Tynwald inquiry into mental health on Friday.

The social affairs policy review committee is taking evidence in public at 1.30pm.

It will hear evidence from Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford, DHSC chief executive Dr Malcolm Couch, director of community care Angela Murray and Mr Roberts.

The committee is chaired by David Cretney. Members are MHKs Julie Edge and Martyn Perkins.

The mental health inquiry was started early last year.

The hearing will take place in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.

Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or to listen to the proceedings on the Tynwald ’Live and Listen Again’ service.
