Eleven candidates have put themselves forward for the three vacant spots on Ramsey commissioners.
The northern authority will now hold an election later this month on Thursday, November 25, to fill the seats in the town’s north ward.
The seats were left vacant in July’s local election general elections.
Among the nominees are Dan Richardson (pictured), who is currently in a legal dispute over who owns the land on which he has built a wooden cabin in the town, deputy Green Party leader Lamara Craine and Luke Parker who recently stood for the House of Keys at the general election.
Also putting their names forward for nomination are: Adam Beighton, Janette Ferguson, Grant Hill, Pauline Johns-Garrett, Tracy Kinrade, Stella Moss, Robyn Spencer and Edward Wilson.
Following the close of nominations yesterday evening, Monday, candidates will be invited to attend the Town Hall at 2pm today, Tuesday, when the returning officer, current board chairman Alby Oldham, will hear any objections or receive any withdrawals.
