Several emergency questions about the collapse of Flybe have been tabled for the House of Keys today.
MHK for Arbory, Castletown and Malew Jason Moorhouse is asking the Chief Minister whether the Flybe pension scheme is registered on the island, what the implications of the collapse of the airline are for members of the scheme and whether he will make a statement.
A story on the Flybe pensions situation is in today’s Isle of Man Examiner.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister is asking the Treasury Minister how much outstanding money is due to the Isle of Man Government from the airline Flybe.
Garff MHK Martyn Perkins is asking the Treasury Minister what support or re-employment opportunities his department is able to offer former Flybe employees.
Mr Callister’s second question is for the Minister for Health and Social Care. He wants him to make a statement on the impact of the collapse of the airline Flybe on the patient transfer service.
He will also ask the Minister for Infrastructure for a statement on the collapse of Flybe.
