Onchan Commissioners has confirmed Robin Turton will serve as its chairman for the municipal year 2019/20.

Mr Turton (pictured) said: ’I am honoured to accept the position, and hope the board will strive to continue to work together for the people of Onchan.’

Kathryn Williams was elected vice-chairman.

Derek Crellin was chosen as lead member for environmental and technical services.

James Cherry was chosen to lead properties and amenities.

And Martin MacFarlane will lead finance and general purposes.
