Castletown residents have elected Nathan Rogers to its board of commissioners in a by-election last night.
With a 16.25% turnout, Mr Rogers won the single available seat with 211 votes, in opposition to Bill Galley’s 185.
He replaces Carol Quine on the board, who quit following a vote of no confidence when her dog bit a member of commissioners staff.
