It is now less than three weeks until we go to the polls in the general election.

All 24 seats in the House of Keys are up for grabs.

Since Howard Quayle has decided to retire, we know we’ll have a new chief minister, so big changes are afoot.

As part of our election coverage, we are asking all the candidates the same questions to gauge their views on all sorts of matters.

The editor has written to all of them by email.

If any candidate reading this has not received an email from him, please contact [email protected]

The answers to those questions will appear in the Isle of Man Examiner of September 14 (Ayre and Michael to Douglas East, alphabetically) and Manx Independent of September 16 (for the remaining constituencies).

People who buy and read local newspapers are interested in local news.

They are more likely to vote than people who flick through social media news feeds.
