The heart of Port St Mary is getting a serious clean this Saturday as part of the Great British Spring Clean.

Commissioner Michelle Haywood is organising the session that focuses on the beach and broughs and is looking for volunteers who can meet her at the bottom of Happy Valley slipway at 9.30am. Those with appropriate work gloves should bring them as the authority has a limited number to loan out. Under 18s are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult.
