The Post-TT Road Race meeting draws the curtain down on the racing side of the festival at Billown on Saturday.

Roads will close on the 4.25-mile course near Castletown between 1 and 4pm for practising, re-opening for one hour before re-closing at 5pm for a three-race programme.

The 600cc race will commence at 6.20pm over eight laps, followed by a 250/650cc twins race at 6.10 over a short six-lap distance.

The 1,100cc race is scheduled for 7pm over eighth laps, 34 miles.

Sponsored by Radcliffe Butchers, leading entries include Jamie Coward, James Cowton, Joey Thompson, Jamie Williams and Ryan Kneen.

POST-TT ENDURO THIS SUNDAY

Southern MCC’s Post-TT Enduro (MotoTT Enduro) takes place at Carnagrie this Sunday.

The Moto1 adult race will be a 60-minute event, Moto2 a 40-minute youth event and MotoTT a 90-minute extravaganza.

Carnagrie, the club’s own land, is on the southside of Slieau Whallian, close to Arrasey Plantation (three miles from St John’s).

It starts at 11am, refreshments will be available, toilets and plenty of parking.
