A public meeting about healthcare is to take place on Monday next week.

It is entitled ’Wellness: A New Health Model For The Isle of Man’ and has been organised by the Positive Action Group.

Four speakers will each to give a seven-minute presentation.

They are: Nigel Taylor, general counsel, Jurby Wellness: Outlining the legal support for patient aAutonomy and fully-informed consent.

Gordon Wilson, managing director, Callin Wild Consulting, who will look at healthcare affordability and agriculture/’food Is medicine’ ppportunities.

Courtenay Heading, founder, Jurby Wellness whose topics are ’Our Brilliant Body’ and disease as a toxin or a ’lack’.

David Ashford, MHK, Minister for Health and Social Care, who will give an update on his strategy.

Following the presentations the audience will be invited to contribute to a panel discussion

It takes place at the Manx Museum theatre at 7.30pm on Monday, June 25.

Admission is free and open to all.
