Rain and strong winds are forecast for this afternoon and evening.
The Met Office forecast for Thursday: ‘A chilly, but dry and bright start today.
‘However, the southeasterly winds will increase fresh to strong by lunchtime, with rain then arriving late afternoon as the winds become strong, possibly touching gale force in places. Maximum temperature 14 Celsius.
‘Tonight will see further spells of rain, as the winds veer southwesterly.
‘Then tomorrow morning the rain will soon die out, and later in the day some brightness may develop as the winds become light.’
