Rain at first this morning will gradually turn showery, then mostly dry from mid afternoon. Light winds at first will settle northwest and freshen later. Top temperature 8°C.
After a clear and chilly start, Christmas Day will be dry and bright with sunny spells and light winds. Highest temperature around 8°C, but quickly turning cold after dusk with the risk of some patchy frost for a time. Temperatures will recover overnight before rain moves in to give a wet start on Boxing Day.
