Police confirm fatal collision as force launches appeal for witnessesCloudy with outbreaks of rain redeveloping from dawn this morning, with some heavier bursts, before gradually dying away this afternoon with the chance of some brightness breaking through. Breezy with a fresh to strong west to northwest wind which will ease later this afternoon with highest temperature around 15°C.
Dry this evening, but turning increasingly cloudy with a further spell of rain moving in later tonight, as the wind settles to the southeast and becomes strong to near gale force. Minimum temperature near to 10°C.
Rain will continue to affect the island tomorrow, heavy at times before clearing away during the afternoon to leave a dry and bright end to the day. Very windy with a strong to near gale force southeast wind, which will turn to the west or southwest and ease slightly as the rain clears. Maximum temperature of 13°C.
Tuesday will be bright with sunny spells and some scattered showers, which will move through fairly quickly on the strong west to south-westerly wind. Temperatures reaching up to 14°C at best.
