The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain redeveloping from dawn this morning, with some heavier bursts, before gradually dying away this afternoon with the chance of some brightness breaking through. Breezy with a fresh to strong west to northwest wind which will ease later this afternoon with highest temperature around 15°C.
Dry this evening, but turning increasingly cloudy with a further spell of rain moving in later tonight, as the wind settles to the southeast and becomes strong to near gale force. Minimum temperature near to 10°C.
Rain will continue to affect the island tomorrow, heavy at times before clearing away during the afternoon to leave a dry and bright end to the day. Very windy with a strong to near gale force southeast wind, which will turn to the west or southwest and ease slightly as the rain clears. Maximum temperature of 13°C.
Tuesday will be bright with sunny spells and some scattered showers, which will move through fairly quickly on the strong west to south-westerly wind. Temperatures reaching up to 14°C at best.
