The weather forecast from the Met Office:

Outbreaks of rain will start to develop shortly after dawn, becoming persistent for a time this morning with some heavier bursts possible. The rain will gradually clear later this morning or early this afternoon bringing drier and brighter conditions across the island. The fresh to strong south to southwest wind will turn to the northwest and ease as the rain clears, with highs of 18°C.

This evening and tonight will be mostly dry with some clear spells as the light wind settles to the west or southwest and freshens. Minimum temperature near to 11°C.

Tomorrow will be bright with sunny intervals, and just a slight risk of one or two passing showers. Highest temperature around 16 or possibly 17°C in the moderate to fresh westerly wind.

Friday will be breezy with a mixture of bright and sunny spells and a few scattered showers. A fresh to strong westerly wind with temperature’s reaching up to 16°C at best.
