It is almost time to dust of your favourite Nirvana number or retrieve your favourite Iron Maiden piece from under your bed.

Jonno Gollow’s Wear Your Old Band T-Shirt To Work Day will take place again this year, and the organisers are encouraging as many people as possible to join in and wear your old, faded, battered and loved band T-shirts to work on Friday, March 22.

The event was first held last year to mark the anniversary of the untimely death of local music promoter Jonno Gollow.

Organised jointly by Jonno’s colleagues at Aston International and 3fm, last year’s T-shirt day raised a total of £1,147, which was donated to SoundCheck, the youth music project.
