Local charity Sailing for the Disabled is selling one of its yachts.
The 40ft long ’Solway Adventurer’, a 2004 Bavaria model 38, had been donated by a similar UK-based charity.
Sailing for the Disabled later decided that it was unable to sail and maintain two boats.
Solway Adventurer is being sold by sealed bid, with bids to be received by 5pm, October 30.
The charity said that the sale will raise funds to continue to provide sailing experiences on board their other yacht, Pride of Mann III, for adults and children with conditions that affect their day-to-day life.
Solway Adventurer can be viewed in Douglas harbour, with photos and short videos available on Facebook.
