The Steam Packet Company announced that Ben-my-Chree crossings on March 10 between Douglas and Heysham at 8.30am, 2pm and 7.45pm could be affected.
Also in doubt is the 2.15am crossing on March 11.
A final decision will be made by the Steam Packet by 5.30pm on Wednesday.
