Fundraisers from Ashley Hill School in Onchan have donated £825 to mental health support charity Isle Listen.

On Sunday, May 9, six members of staff took part in the Manx Team Triathlon in Ramsey, raising £550.

The following Friday, children dressed in green as part of Mental Health Awareness Week and raised £275 through donations from children and their families.

During the pandemic and lockdowns, the school says that many children and adults in the island experienced a mental health problem or saw a loved one struggle. The school says the pandemic highlighted the importance of mental health in the face of the unprecedented challenges.
