The organisers of a huge international festival of Celtic culture has invited prospective visual artists to apply to be part of this year’s Manx contingent.

The organising committee of the Manx side to the Lorient festival are looking for an artist to represent the Isle of Man at the 10-day event, held in Brittany at the start of August.

Any artist who would be interested should send their details and examples of their work to Sarah Hendy, at [email protected] before the end of February.

Former local artists have included poet and photographer Janet Lees and painter Nicola Dixon.
