The Met Office forecast for Tuesday: ‘Cloudy with the odd sharp shower this morning and a moderate, locally fresh south or southeasterly wind.

‘Into this afternoon becoming mainly dry and bright with the risk of an isolated shower this evening and overnight as the wind becomes light and variable.

‘Maximum temperature 18°C.’
