Singers are being invited to join in with a northern-based community choir and help welcome in the summer.
The Summer Singers of Ramsey are getting back into rehearsals after the enforced lay-off and are looking for new members to join its ranks.
The seasonal choir, which normally only performs during the summer months, is working towards a concert at the end of the summer, to be held in September.
The choir had to cancel most of the planned performances over 2020 due to a lack of rehearsals.
The choir are looking forward to resuming rehearsals and would like new singers to join in with the long-time choir members.
’There are no auditions, so in our choir we have people with varying levels of experience,’ said musical director Geoff Collier.
’Individually we may not all be brilliant singers, but as a group we can make great music together, and have fun at the same time.’
From July 13, the choir rehearse every Monday at 7.15pm in St Paul’s Hall, Ramsey.
