On Saturday, May 20, from 1pm to 4pm, Glen Maye Chapel is holding its sixth annual Great Glen Maye Duck Festival in Glen Maye’s National Glen.

There will be duck-related stalls, duck games, a duck treasure hunt, refreshments and a duck racing tournament down the glen from near the lower picnic site

Open races will take place at 2.15pm and 3.25pm.

There is corporate race at 2.45pm for local businesses.

Particpants can bring their own plastic and rubber and plastic ones can be hired on the day.

Race entrance fee is £2 which covers two races. It’s £1 for those who bring their own ducks.

Prizes include a return ticket for a car and two adults on the Steam Packet.

The event aims to raising money for Glen Maye Chapel’s community centre project.
