The A36 Sloc road has been closed between the Ballakillowey roundabout and the Round Table due to snow and ice.

Police said this will be monitored and reassessed throughout the day.

They advised motorists to use an alternative route in the meantime and remain mindful of the weather and road conditions around the island.
