Some photos of the recent Manx Grassland Society farm visit at Begoade Moar Farm.

It was hosted by John Willie Moore and Andrew Clague who gave participants a tour of the history, land, people and agricultural enterprise.

This was followed by a hearty lunch at the new cafe at the Manx Fun Barn then the society’s AGM got underway.

Sophie White was elected chairperson with Kayleigh Coole secretary and Elaine Garrett treasurer.

Thanks were given to retiring chairman Jim Caley who has done a great job of organising in a challenging year.

The society is also looking for suggestions from the local agricultural community for speakers, tours and farm tours for this year’s events.
