St John’s Produce Show will take place tomorrow, Saturday, September 2 at the Methodist Hall, Main Road, St John’s.

This year the show’s chosen charities are Mannin Sepsis and Victim Support Isle of Man.

Mannin Sepsis is a charity whose aim is to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of sepsis, also referred to as blood poisoning or septicaemia, in the Isle of Man, through the provision of support and advice.

The charity also supports those in the island affected either directly or indirectly by sepsis and aims to advance the education of the public on the subject of Sepsis.

Victim Support Isle of Man is an independent Isle of Man charity, which offers free and confidential help to victims and witnesses of crime, their family and friends. They provide support for people affected by crime, death by road traffic collisions, unusual death or domestic abuse.

There will be a new trophy this year, the John Kennaugh Memorial Trophy presented by his wife Margaret and family which will be awarded to exhibitor of Best Lemon Meringue Pie.

Doors open at 3pm with a prize presentation at 7pm which is followed by the popular auction at 7.30pm with auctioneer Lee Cain.
