A strawberry-themed fair will be held on Saturday, July 29, in the grounds of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Ramsey.

It will run from midday until 4pm and will offer the chance to sample strawberry cream teas and knickerbocker glories.

All strawberries used are grown locally at Ballanelson nurseries.

There also will be a raffle, stalls, children’s activities and competitions.

There will also be the crowning of a strawberry prince or princess. To be in with a chance of winning that title children must be dressed in a strawberr-themed outfit.

Judging will take place at 3pm and you can register to enter from midday.

There will also be a strawberry-themed baking competition which will be judged at 3.30pm.

Entry to the fair is free and via the Mona Street entrance.
