The Steam Packet has cancelled its return Birkenhead sailing due to strong winds.

The Ben my Chree was due to leave Douglas at 8am today (Saturday) and return at 2pm.

Several sailings have been cancelled this week due to the weather.

The Steam Packet said: ‘Due to the forecast adverse weather this sailing has been cancelled.

‘Please contact our reservations team on 01624 661661 or 08722 992 992 after 07:15hrs to make alternative arrangements.’
