UK national newspapers will be late into the shops for the next two Sundays.

The papers are being flown into the island on Sunday afternoon this Sunday (April 12) and the following Sunday as the Ben my Chree will be out of service for essential maintenance.

The aircraft will not be able to land until 3pm due to the restricted opening hours at Ronaldsway.

GE White Limited will deliver papers to shops that afternoon.

And newsagents with home delivery services are making special arrangements to get copies to their customers as early as possible.

Anyone who has difficulty buying a copy should email [email protected] and they will arrange for it to be sent to your local shop on Monday morning.
