Port Erin Commissioners are inviting residents to show their support for the village’s bin men during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The local authority has provided a cartoon image of refuse collectors and asked children, or adults, to colour them in and display them in their windows.

A spokesman said: ’If you are looking for some colouring in sheets, we’re sure our fantastic refuse collection team would love to see some colourful pictures of them in action.

’If you can print this sheet out, colour it in and stick it in your window, we’re sure they’d love to see what you can do. And if you see our team, please give them a wave through the window too.

’Please feel free to share your pictures on this page too so we can see how you have done. There may even be a little prize for some of the best ones.’
