Jabrane Moutiq, aged 39, of Malvern Road, Douglas, has pleaded not guilty to indecent assault.
The taxi driver is accused of assaulting a woman passenger on January 15.
He was represented in court by advocate Jim Travers.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes accepted summary court jurisdiction and a pre-trial review will be held in summary court on July 25.
Bail continues in the sum of £500 with a condition not to contact the complainant.
