A show that promises to be 100 percent educational, 200% entertaining, 300% explosive and 400% fun is coming to the island this weekend.
The Ministry of Science Live show is appearing at the Gaiety Theatre tonight (Friday), from 7.30pm.
Featuring a spectacular show of fire, explosions, bizarre reactions and mind-boggling scientific experiments, the Ministry of Science is a show guaranteed to be unlike anything you have seen before, and promises to bring out the inner scientist in everyone.
Created by the team responsible for such lives shows as Brainiac Live, this new production takes an anarchic approach to science communication whilst looking at the inventors and engineers who have shaped and inspired the modern world.
The on-stage antics don’t so much come with a bang, but with a woosh, a jet of flame, a smash and crash, a human cannonball and with a live working hovercraft that gets built and operated infront of the audience.
Narrated by Peter Dickinson, the voice of the X Factor, the show features two onstage scientists, who use liquid nitrogen to freeze flowers and hydrogen to create bottle rockets, and will take you on a journey through science with a few loud bangs to lead the way. Fingers in ears are advised!
Tickets for the Ministry of Science Live are £15.50 per adult, £13.50 for under 16s and £54 for a family of four, available from villagiety.com
