Watch out for standing water on the island’s roads, the Met Office has warned.

Heavy rain this morning will make driving conditions quite difficult, it says.

The rain will clear later this morning leaving scattered showers with some bright or sunny spells developing.

It will be another windy day with a strong to gale force southeast wind which will turn to the southwest as the rain clears/

Temperature will reach 12°C.

This evening and tonight will be mainly dry with just isolated showers. Lowest temperature near to 5°C in the strong to gale force southwest wind.
