Panic buying of toilet paper appears to have affected Port Erin, where rolls have been taken from public conveniences.
Village commissioners were told at this week’s meeting that cubicles at the Shore Road toilets had been stripped of all paper.
Authority staff said in the last week that every time replacement rolls were placed out, they were all gone the next day.
Supermarket shelves were emptied of rolls this week, as today’s Manx Independent reports.
