The closure of Waterloo Road Methodist Centre, Ramsey means that Beryl’s Mums and Tots has moved on after 23 years.

The organising team comprises Joy Taverner, Ruth Harris, Peter and Louise Wood, Shirley Quaye, Marjorie Garrett and the Reverend Bryan Yardy.

Four of the team are standing down after a good number of years and the current ’Mums’ presented them with a thank-you card and flowers. There was also a cake to mark 23 years in the same venue.

Shirley Quaye said: ’This has been a wonderful venue and many children have enjoyed the space with numerous activities to keep them happy. We’ve had happy times seeing the children develop’.

The group’s new venue is St Paul’s Hall.
