A traffic management plan for Noble’s Park is being drawn up by Douglas Council.

Regeneration and community committee chairman Stephen Pitts said traffic in the park was being assessed, ahead of the plan, after fellow councillor John Skinner asked him whether the main car park needed to be designated as a public highway.

’This assessment is looking at the current highway designation and how it can best be managed in the future,’ said Mr Pitts.

The report is due before the regeneration committee in October.
