A trial date has been set for a man accused of cultivating cannabis.
Roy Duggan, 50, currently of Cumbria Court, Ramsey, pleaded not guilty at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on Friday to three charges – unlawfully cultivating a cannabis plant, possession of cannabis bush and possession of psilocybin – magic mushrooms – a class A drug.
A three-day jury trial beginning on February 26 next year was set by Deemster Graham Cook.
Mr Duggan, who represented himself in court, was granted bail with a condition that he resides at his parents’ address at Cooil Breryk, Ramsey, from August 19 and that he does not leave the island from that date without the court’s permission.
