Family and friends of Joe Greene gathered at Corinthians’ football club ground at Ballafletcher, on Saturday to pay tribute to the teenager who died on holiday in Spain earlier this month. They celebrated the 18-year-old’s life with a minute’s applause and a release of balloons. Floral tributes were also left in his memory at the ground.

Joe's funeral will be at St Mary's Church, Douglas, on Thursday, July 27, at 12 midday, followed by a short, private family-only service at the crematorium.
A family spokesman said: 'We welcome all to St Mary's and then the Villa Marina to help celebrate his life and say goodbye.
'Thank you all so very much for all your love, kind words and support this week, we are totally overwhelmed and incredibly proud of Joe.'
