Conor Cummins is with what he describes as a perfect team for the 2017 season after signing for the Batley-based Padgett’s set-up.

’It’s the team to be in,’ said the popular 30-year-old Manxman.

’I have great respect for Clive [Padgett] as a boss, and the track record for the team is unbelievable.

’It’s very much a family-orientated set-up and I felt really at home with them when I joined them for last year’s TT and beyond in the Supersport and Superstock classes.’

The confirmation of Conor’s full-time addition means that Padgetts Honda Racing will have a two-pronged attack at the TT, with Cummins joining 11-times TT winner Bruce Anstey.

The ’Ramsey Rocket’ will contest the Superbike, Senior, Superstock and Supersport races riding the latest-spec Honda CBR 1000RR and CBR 600RR machines.
