Adult literacy and numeracy tutors, students and volunteers working with the University College Isle of Man (UCM) have enjoyed an evening at the Mayor’s parlour.

The group was invited by Mayor Jon Joughin JP to recognise its work.

Mr Joughin said: ’It was really good to meet the volunteers and the adult literacy and numeracy students. Volunteer tutors do a marvellous job working with adults seeking to improve their literacy and numeracy skills. I was very impressed by their enthusiasm.’
