The polar bears from Tynwald Mills, made famous after a picture of them in a suggestive position went viral, will tonight appear live on Channel 4’s The Last Leg.

The shopping outlet was challenged by host Adam Hills last Friday to send a polar bear to the studio for the award winning show’s Christmas special.

Adam said: ’Alright, Isle of Man we have one week left, our Christmas special and we have a challenge, a real one if you’ve got it, if not a model will do.

’But let’s end our series with one of the Isle of Man polar bears in our studio. Have you got the guts to send one?’

Tynwald Mills has risen to the challenge as its Twitter account showed one of the baby polar bears, dressed in Christmas attire, preparing to board the Ben-my-Chree.

The bears and their handlers are due to be on the show which starts at the earlier time of 9pm on Channel 4.
