Douglas councillors have decided to defer any future decision on extending the area permitted for dog walking on Douglas beach.

The issue of dog walking proved contentious at the August sitting of the council and members have now decided to wait for other decisions relating to groynes on the beach and the sea wall to be finalised before making a decision. It will be considered in September 2020.
