The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Cloudy today with hill fog and spells of rain and drizzle developing from the south this morning, turning heavy at times, then becoming mostly dry again mid to late afternoon. Highest temperature around 8°C in the fresh to strong easterly wind.
Mostly dry and windy overnight with temperatures dropping to around 2 Celsius at low levels, but falling sub-zero on the hills.
Saturday will be very cold but mainly dry and bright with sunny intervals and just isolated snow showers coming across on a strong to gale force east wind. Temperatures only about 3°C at best.
Staying very cold on Sunday with a strong east-northeast wind and sunny intervals as a few light snow showers move away by the afternoon. Temperatures only 2 or 3°C, but still freezing hard on the hills.
